Ticket+vuvuzela+face paint+Jabulani=ready to go

Ellis Park Stadium

South African flags fly proudly in the stadiums even when Bafana Bafana isn’t playing

And I was proud to be an American

Jabu’s new friend

Bad hair day

VIVA USA

Slovenia scores and their three fans go craaaaazy

The referee makes a bad call and gets what he deserves

Our first match together!

So close to the field

Watching their team come back from 2-0 to tie it

Why wear your heart on your sleeve when you can wear your flag on your cheek

Clearly the German section of the crowd

A Black Star

Couldn’t have asked for better seats for this show

My fellow American, Adam Burg

When did the afro become so popular?

So close to the action!

Germany wins 1-0

Jabu never leaves my side
